| Kent's farm is located along the banks of the Mississippi river in north central Minnesota. The farm has been in the family for three generations with Kent's grandparents arriving in 1922. The family moved north from Minneapolis to settle in with some cows, chickens, horses, pigs, & sheep. Grandma took care of the chickens, the horsed pulled the plow and other machinery, while the cows and pigs provided income and food. | |
